Merry Meet

Ok, I know I've posted already tonight but I felt I really should introduce myself more! Especially since I've sent out quite a few invites in hopes of some new friends!

Here goes, I'm a happily married mother of a 3 year old charming, yet rambunctious boy. I've felt that Wiccian/Pagan has been my calling for years now, and have looked into it from time to time over the years however never really got into it until this past year. I met some friends who are Wiccian/Pagan, or just starting out like me and it encouraged me to really look into it further. I'm adopted, and my parents are Christian, however I never felt the pull. I do not have any elders or anyone other than the few friends I do know, to help me out or teach me the ways. I do hope to find some on here to help, as well as make new friends who are also new to this and we can learn together!

I am from ALL over actually, I was born in Fort Smith Arkansas, but raised in Tucson Arizona. I met and married a Air Force man at the age of 21 and we immediately moved to Germany for a tour of duty there. I was there for 4 years. The marriage did not work, and we divorced. I stayed in Germany a while longer (heck, I loved it there!) and met another Air Force man, whom I dated, and ended up moving with him to Fort Polk (Leesville) Louisiana. Where I got pregnant with my son. We then eventually married (big mistake on my part) and then divorced a year later. I stayed in Louisiana, I really loved Louisiana very much and considered (still do!) it home! I met my current husband there, and we were friends for a long time before even dating (can you say, I was a bit ... hesitant!) Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit us, luckily Katrina missed us, but Rita hit us dead on, our home was ok, however my husband's job was not. They told him he was out of a job for 6 to 8 weeks until power and water and all could be restored. Bills don't wait 6 to 8 weeks, and when we went to FEMA for aid, they told us that we didn't qualify since Katrina was being aided first. (jeez thanks!) so during that time, we came up to Rogers Arkansas to stay with my parents until we figured out what to do, and in that time my husband found a job here. We ended up moving up here, finding a house in Bentonville, getting married and now here we are! I do like it here, but I feel homesick for Louisiana quite often and it will get to me from time to time.

Also, I have a hearing loss, am considered deaf, :-) and I do like it. I like being able to turn off my hearing aids when I don't want to hear something (or someone lol) I have also been told by a few mediums that I have strong powers. I do know what they are talking about but I have no clue how to use them, harness them or anything, so it's frustrating for me and I have yet to meet someone who can help.

Well, that's quite a bit bout me, I hope ya'll find it intresting and I'm looking forward to making some new friends on here!

wow, it's been awhile! Sorry if I haven't been around here much, I started up this page and then life took over, I am also on Yahoo 360 much more often, and to be honest, I actually forgot about my site here for a bit!  First off, my son gets sick, then hubby, then me, and it just goes back and forth for over a month. Now son and hubby are well, I'm still battling a sinus infection (UGH) but hopefully once I'm over that, we'll ALL be well and STAY well!  I recently found a book on spells, by Sister Moon, and have been looking thru it. I am very familiar with spells, but not as much of these types. I normally do Tarot spells, candle spells, these are a bit more involved so, I need to learn some more! The one spell I am looking to do is a protection spell, for my son, who goes to his real dad's soon for a month (yeah, 1 month every 3 months I have him, ugh!) and he's only 3. It's so hard on him and his father is really, umm, not a good guy to put it mildly, so I am hoping the protection spell will help my son. I missed the time frame of when to do it, it says here to do this spell during the Hare Moon, and if I'm correct that is, the new moon, and I should be doing this when the moon is not visible at all. As well as I need poppets, and I'm not familiar with poppets, nor where to get them or how to make them. I still have so much learning to do! If anyone has any advice, I'd sure love to hear it!
